The Korean Folk Village was one of the last trips I went on before I left Korea.
Although, it was interesting to learn the way Koreans used to live it truly wasn't that interesting to photograph.
Instead, I went to the sculpture park that was apart of the Korean Folk Village and found inspiration in the different pieces. All of them were so beautiful and was quite a contrast from the nature surrounding it.
Leaving Korea was bitter sweet, I had to leave my mom and the small group of friends I had made while I was there. But, when I got off the 12 hour long flight and realized I was back in America it was a strange sense of relief.
Not that I felt unsafe or scared in Korea it was just a relief to be around familiar, American things.
Despite, America having so many problems, there will always be no place like home.
Now that I've been here for a few months, rekindling relationships with family and friends,
getting re-used to the familiar things. It's time for a new experience and adventure.
And that adventure is college!
Some of you may know what college I'm going to and what I'm going to major in but there will be an in depth as to why I chose that college and that major in a future blog post so stay tuned!!!
(p.s. My Korea adventures are far from over!)
