I know what you're thinking.
First a post about books and now she's posing in the library.
To be honest I've always wanted to do a photoshoot in the library.
I recently got a new tripod and clicker so, I figured why not do it now.
I do want to apologize to the two people on that floor of the library for the constant clicking of my camera. But, you know gotta do what you gotta do. Some people go to the library to read and study, I go to take pictures.
But, I do have another confession to make.
I used to want to be a librarian.
Yes, when I was a little girl it was my dream to stack and organize books.
I think I was mostly obsessed with the idea that I could read all the books I wanted to because I would be surrounded by them. I'm telling you, when I said I was in love with books it is not a lie.
Now, originally my plan for this post was to tell you 10 things I learned in high school. But, it's kinda hard to do. Not, that I didn't learn anything, I'm sure I learned plenty. The thing is every time I look back at my time spent in high school it doesn't seem special or interesting. I did what I was supposed to do, I did encounter some trouble, as everyone does. But, even overcoming those problems don't seem special. My whole entire high school experience seems so, mundane. Even when I went to school in Korea it was still a basic high school, just in another country.
This is not to say I didn't accomplish anything in high school. I mean I was on the honor roll for a couple of quarters, started a fashion club (it didn't workout), I was in a school play, and I met some people who I am sure will be some life long friends. But, those are things that you usually do in high school. There is nothing wrong with being mundane or normal things can't be exciting all the time.
Now, I do have some good and memorable experience outside of the classroom and I learned a lot from those experiences that drove me to do the things I do now in college. But, I'm not gonna bore you with life advice. After all, who would take life advice from an eighteen year old anyways.
Now for my outfit!
I was kinda going for a soft/edgy look. The plaid skirt, fish nets, and docs combo remind me of punk and paired with the off the shoulder body suit and cardigan add some softness and femininity.
I think next time I wear this outfit (yes, I am an outfit repeater), I will probably ditch the cardigan, add a leather jacket and wear it with a dark lipstick to really go for the edgy, punk theme.
The Outfit:
Shirt: Similar
Skirt: Made by me
Cardigan: Forever 21
Tights: Amazon
Shoes: Dr. Martens
