First Semester of College

I suppose, I first want to start off by saying I hope everyone had a very happy holidays and are ready to start off the new year!

Although everybody hates the resolutions and the new year, new me stuff, I kind of like it. With the dawn of the new year everyone is so filled with hope and ready for the new beginnings and ready to strive towards their goals. It's kinda cool because at the beginning of a new year the whole world is celebrating and filled with hope, everyone is on the same page and you can feel that energy.

But, I guess you guys are really here to hear about my first semester of college as a fashion design major.

It was an okay, first semester.

Don't get me wrong, my grades were great (all A's) and I really enjoyed all of my classes (except for maybe art history) and just learning about the fashion industry. After all it has been a dream of mine since 5th grade. I also met a couple of cool people who I hope to eventually call friends for life.

But, if i'm being honest with myself I wasn't entirely confident. My self-esteem actually lowered while I was in college. I was my own enemy. Most people tend to find themselves in college and I was losing myself.

It wasn't just one thing that made me feel that way, it was a multitude of things.

But, I don't want to get in to all of that. Since, winter break started my goal was to work on myself and just self-love and self-healing and now I'm extremely ready to start off this second semester.
