Back to School: College Edition Part 4

By Imani Johnson - August 17, 2017

Now it is time for my final college expectation.

I expect myself to continue learning outside of class. College doesn't teach you everything that you may want to potentially learn about. You have to take it upon yourself to do that and make time for it in your every day schedule. Which is exactly what I'm going to do.

Since with my major I am not able to fit in a minor and I am choosing not to take classes over the summer, and not to be in college for another year. Instead, I am going to try and teach myself everything I could have ever wanted to learn. With the internet, books and the people you know, it is possible to learn a whole new skill.

Some smart person said "everyone in the world gets the same 24 hours in the day. The difference between successful and unsuccessful people is how they choose to spend their time."

In the free time after classes or homework I could be practicing another language or learning how to invest in stocks or learning how to start an online business.  The seconds, minutes and hours I practice could lead to me eventually having a fluent understanding of anything I choose to learn.

And, I mean, if you don't find learning a new skill for your happiness to be a big enough motivation, learning a new skill could also make you more hirable in the future.

This concludes my back to school expectations and looks! If there was an expectation that you particularly resonated with leave a comment saying which one! Also, leave a comment and tell me which look was your favorite!

I was really drawn to this jumpsuit on the Urban Outfitters website mostly because of the color. I thought it was so bright and definitely a statement maker.
The fit of the jumpsuit is straight and boyish, in order to contradict that I decided to wear this tube top underneath and have the jumpsuit either open or tied around my waist to show a little bit more skin.

I paired it with my docs and a lavender dad cap in order to continue with the boyish feel of the outfit.

The Outfit:
Jumpsuit: Urban Outfitters (they only have Khaki left)
Tube top: Amazon
