Lately I've been into layering things to get more wear out of my clothes.

For example this black tube dress which is very summery on its own is now being worn as a fall/winter piece with a white long sleeve shirt underneath. 

If its colder where you are at instead of the fishnets I would suggest going with some thicker tights.

But, don't just go for the same old black tights get something with some color, or a cool pattern, or maybe even a cool cable knit design.

A lot of my winter wardrobe, I would say about 70-80% of the pieces are thrifted.

This is probably because I always tend to find thicker and better quality sweater at Goodwill compared to Forever21. And when living in Ohio a thick sweater is a definite must have. 

The white turtleneck and this awesome fur lined denim jacket I got at a Goodwill. I can't remember the prices it I know it is significantly less than what I would have paid had I purchased it retail.

The skirt I got a while ago while I was in Korea at a store called TopTen. I was attracted to it mostly for the blush color and the asymmetrical hemline. It's made out of a really nice faux leather that is soft to the touch. The skirt was my little pop of color for this mostly cream and white outfit.

The satin shirt I got from Goodwill and I believe it was initially supposed to be a sleep shirt. But, just because it was made for that purpose doesn't mean I have to wear it as such! I was attracted to the deep indigo-purple color and the loose size of the shirt. 

The vinyl skirt my mom bought for me, I don't know if I would've bought it myself but, now that I styled it, I actually like it. It does make quite a lot of noise when you walk in it. But, hey, at least I'm giving people something interesting to look at when they hear me walk in to a room.
