Venice is probably one of my favorite places in Italy that I have been so far. I had only spent one full day there but there was still so much that I have left to see. I guess that simply means that I will have to go back one day.

When I went to Venice it was not the best weather. It was relatively cold and rainy but, the beauty of Venice was still shining through. Especially when I went to the colorful island of Burano. The houses were painted in bright unique colors, brightening up the relatively grey day we were having. 

As of Oct. 31st this beautiful city of Venice was flooded and is currently still flooded. As I write this so far 29 people have died from the previous harsh winds and flooding. So keep Venice in your thoughts.
