Third Eye: An inner eye which provides perception beyond ordinary sight.

The third eye is on the point of the pineal gland located between the brows.

It is the 6th out of the 7 chakras associated mostly with awareness and is also associated with the color indigo. These beliefs are based on Hinduism although, it has become a big part of the New Age movement.
